Big Red Robe Tea Organic Oolong Tea / Loose Leaf Oolong Tea

Da Hong Pao tea is one of the most famous among Chinese oolong teas, and is listed as one of the Top Ten Teas of China. It originated from wild rare tea plants that were found growing on the cliff of Wuyi Mountain. There are so many mythic stories about Da Hong Pao tea. Legend goes that an Emperor clothed the bushes with red robes whose leaves had cured his mother`s illness. Litterally the tea name can be translated as: Big Red Robe tea. " Big" means"da" in Chinese, "Red" means" Hong" in Chinese, "Robe" means "Pao" in Chinese.

This Da Hong Pao is is from Zheng Yan areas in Wuyishan Mountain, which is famous for its charming and delighted strong rock tea fragrance and taste. It has dark red leaves, curled and twisted carefully by hand, with purple-red stripe and vein. Incredibly flavorful tea from the stems of the tea plants among the rocks in Wuyi Mountain. This famous tea is noted for its strong sweet-osmanthus fragrance, smooth, yet so mellow aftertaste, and can stand brewing 7 --8 times, with delivering a golden yellow liquid. A most rare tea in the world!
